Solar Panel Fitting

If you enjoy camping off grid, or just want to keep your battery topped up whilst your caravan or motorhome is in storage, a solar panel is a must.

When calculating the best solution, we will need to know the average daily power consumption – so what you need to charge, for how long, and your leisure battery capacity.

And if it’s a motorhome, whether you will need to trickle charge the engine battery as well as feeding the leisure battery.

Another crucial piece of information we need is the roof space available for panel fitting. Normally it’s no issue but if you have multiple rooflights, an aircon unit and the obligatory aerial and vents then it can get a little crowded.
