Delamination Repairs

If your caravan floor feels spongy or you hear creaking when walking on it, this could be due to delamination. It is most likely to occur where there is higher traffic, such as in the doorway or kitchen area.

There are two main repair methods, both involving drilling of holes and injection of the re- bonding chemicals. One method involves injection from the top, and the other requires injection from below. We prefer injection from underneath as it results in less cosmetic damage. Repairs from the top require drilling through the laminate floor which results in visible damage unless you cover with a carpet or other flooring type.

Our delamination repair is charged per square metre and this carried out at our Staplehurst workshop. Unfortunately, we cannot offer delamination repairs as a mobile service.
